Where doesn’t Starlink work on flights?

Starlink says in-flight service works over most of the world and over international waters, “with very few exceptions”. The evidence points to India, Pakistan, China, Russia, Belarus, North Korea and a few other places. Last checked 5 October 2026.

Starlink doesn’t publish the exceptions, so this list combines its own data, airline statements and reports from travellers. Country borders are extended by 12 nautical miles of territorial water; actual service boundaries can differ. Check your flight to see how long each part of your route is affected.
